In this corner we present lecture materials that were created for a Diploma Course for BioMedical Engineering Technologists (BMETs) in Zambia in 2015 and 2016 at NORTEC, Northern Technical College in Ndola, Zambia.
The modules mentioned are part of a full curriculum program (see figure). The information presented here only deals with the theoretical, Medical Equipment specific part of this curriculum.
During lectures, the presentations as shared here were combined with video's, texts and other 'background' materials that were mostly obtained from the internet. These materials are not shared here because of copy right issues. It will not be very difficult to collect such information.
The materials presented here can be freely used by all who are working to enhance the BME profession and the management and maintenance of medical equipment in health facilities.
